DBRfittings' ABS Sanitary Tee is a type of plumbing fitting used in drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. It is designed to connect three pipes at a 90-degree angle, allowing for efficient waste flow while preventing clogs and maintaining proper venting.

Material: Made from ABS which is lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for both residential and commercial plumbing.
Design:
Has a swept-inlet (curved branch) to allow smooth wastewater flow, reducing turbulence and blockages.
The main run is straight, while the branch is angled at 90 degrees for vertical-to-horizontal connections.
Purpose:
Primarily used in DWV systems (not for pressurized applications).
Ensures proper drainage by directing waste downward while maintaining venting to prevent sewer gases from entering living spaces.
Common Sizes:
Available in various diameters (e.g., 1½", 2", 3", 4") to match ABS pipe standards.
Fits schedule 40 (most common) or schedule 80 (heavy-duty) ABS pipes.
Applications:
Connects vertical drain lines to horizontal branches (e.g., under sinks, toilets, or showers).
Used in vent stacks to maintain proper air flow in plumbing systems.
Suitable for sewage and wastewater systems (but not for hot water or high-pressure lines).

Note:
Do not confuse with a "ABS Wye" or "Combination Wye"—those have a 45° branch for gentler flow direction.
